The Estimate Process

To begin your home improvement project, simply send us several pictures of the area you want to improve via text or email. After reviewing the pictures, we will schedule a call to discuss your project and how we can help bring your vision to life. During the call, we will gather all the necessary information to provide a free rough estimate of your project. Typically, this call takes only 10-15 minutes of your time. If you decide to proceed, we may need to schedule an in-home consultation, depending on the size and scope of your project.

If we need to schedule an in-home consultation for your project, a small fee may be required based on the distance, size, and scope of the project. However, if you decide to use our services, this fee will be credited towards your final invoice. The duration of the in-home consultation is generally between 2-3 hours. During this consultation, we will work with you to identify the most effective strategy to achieve your goals. We are prepared to offer our expertise and guidance during this consultation as well as:

-Thoroughly discuss your concept and guide to construct your vision within your budget.  

-Take detailed measurements.  Evaluate and assess your space to ensure the elimination of “surprises” during construction and guarantee the accuracy of the quote.

-Access and inspect the attic, basement, or crawl spaces to fully understand the construction of your home to determine possible costs associated with your design. 

-  If your home was built before 1978 lead paint testing may be required.  If so, Ridgetop Renovations is an EPA-certified lead renovator and can perform all necessary actions to keep you and your family safe.

-Create a written proposal outlining everything to be done including materials, fixtures, costs, and a timeline for completion.
